CCTV Technician
Job Description
CCTV Technicians install and maintain closed circuit television systems. Responsible for solving any problems that appear during monitoring CCTV cameras. Responsible for all manuals and technical date sheet for assets related to CCTV systems and should save it in a safe place.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installation of cameras, tv and video conferencing equipment
- Install cable pathway systems (conduit, cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).
- Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.
- Troubleshoot networks and low voltage and assist in performing preventative maintenance and repair for cameras and supporting equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing systems and/or equipment for legacy video system
Experience & Qualifications
- Candidate should have at least 3 years experience in CCTV and access control installation
- Candidate should have knowledge of the top 3 CCTV brands: HIKVISON, DAHUA, Samsang, Matrix
- Candidate should have knowledge of biometric devices and time and attendance devices e.g. ZKT Eco, Matrix, Supreme
- Knowledge in procedure used for installing and maintaining security systems and equipment
- Manufacturer’s practical training in security system
- Should have installed various CCTV camera types both Analog & Digital IP systems.
